Ingredients In Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant

Ingredients profiles matter the most when you buckle up to make a recipe. You must use high-quality, fresh ingredients to make a titillating recipe.

Bacon: I prefer using short-cut bacon but you can choose any other cut you like. However, cooking time may slightly vary with each cut. For instance, fatty bacon or thin bacon may be cooked earlier than thick cuts.

Eggs: I recommend you to use pasteurized eggs but you can use any egg already stocked up in your refrigerator.

Cheese: Use mild cheddar cheese for the gooiness and perfect flavor.

Croissant: You can either choose large bakery Croissants or smaller Croissant sandwiches depending upon your preference for the recipe. I love buying it from Patisserie Chanson as the croissants are reasonably priced and freshly baked.

Milk: The purpose of milk is to liquidify the eggs but you can choose any non-dairy milk or even water for the same agenda. However, I believe adding milk makes the eggs extra soft.

Butter: Avoid using margarine or spreads. As we desire premium quality, so real butter will do the duty.

Salt: You can omit it if you want because bacon is already salty.

Black Pepper Powder: My eggs can never be prepared without adding a little pepper, so that’s a must for me. However, you can skip it if you want as it’s optional.

Variations & Substitutions In Bacon Egg and Cheese Croissant
