- For baking strawberries biscuits, preheat the oven at the temperature of 250 C° for 30 minutes. Once you are done, you are ready to prepare your biscuit dough.
- Take a bowl add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, powdered sugar, and chunks of fresh strawberries. Mix all the ingredients gently with a spatula until all strawberry chunks are coated with flour.
- Later we will grate the frozen butter into the flour mixture and mix it gently with our hands until the butter is completely mixed in the flour mixture.
- Here in this step we will gradually add buttermilk to our flour mixture and mix it with a spatula or you can use your hands.
- If you want to create a dough-like consistency, make sure the dough is soft and not too hard. This will ensure your biscuits turn out light and fluffy.
- Now dust the cutting board with flour and gently knead the dough with a light touch.
- We can start the folding process by creating four loops and placing one loop on top of the other before folding it again.
- Repeat this method around 5-6 times to ensure that your biscuits have nice flakiness and prominent layers when baked.
- Roll the dough by hand in a fine way, making sure it is thick enough so that our biscuits are about 1 inch thick.
- Use any fine cookie or biscuit cutter to shape them into round biscuits. I am using a cup for cutting the dough, but you can use any round-shaped cutter.
- Grease the baking tray with butter and place all the biscuits on it. After that, brush them with egg white and bake them in a preheated oven for at least 25 minutes, until the biscuits have risen and have a golden brown crust.
- For Glaze: We take a small bowl and add the icing sugar, vanilla essence, and milk into it. With the help of a hand blender, blend very well for at least 5 to 6 minutes.
