Sauce Prep
1 1/2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons dry sherry
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon peanut oil
Directions
- Rinse the choy sum under cold running water and remove the yellow parts, as they may be bitter.
- Boil a big pot of water add choy sum and cook till the veggies become tender.
- Once the desired texture is achieved, drain the excess water and wash the choy sum again.
- Pat, it dry in a bowl and lay it down in layered form.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- In a saucepan, add oil and heat it on medium flame, add garlic, and cook till the fragrance starts coming out.
- Now add the sauce ingredients and stir continuously.
- Thick the sauce and pour it onto spread-out choy sum. Ready to be served.
